Zina is an award-winning tv and film producer, broadcast journalist and content creator. She has worked for SKY, ITV, TalkSPORT, Dazed, Forbes, HuffPost and many more.
Having started her career producing national news, Zina eventually went on to become a political commentator at TalkRADIO. She then moved to WWP where she was in tv and film development whilst producing shows and short films.
On her journey Zina witnessed hair discrimination. Facing hair discrimination herself and seeing how society used hair as a another form of oppression, she started the first petition to end Hair discrimination in the UK which has attracted over 85,000 signatures, demonstrating that it is a real issue.
Zina will be producing a documentary series in association with THE COLOUR OF MY FACE which explores black identity, beauty and culture.
Jessica Anastasia AKA Poetess Jess is an award-winning spoken word artist, and a student of Performance and Creative Enterprise at the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama.
Poetess Jess expresses her thoughts, concerns and shares her experiences through spoken word and is commonly known for her passion and the ability to use her words to challenge people to rise and be greater. “Her words leave you contemplating on your life and how to raise the bar“. They inspire confidence and Raised levels of self-esteem; bring hope to the hopeless and help you to see meaning in your life.
Jessica won the ‘Best Faith Based Poet of 2019’, and was signed under the MOBO’s Talent. She is a beacon of light to all generations and we are great full to have her as an Ambassador..
Kai spent a lot of his childhood at his gran and watched her cooking. She encouraged him to get involved and so he found himself absorbed and fascinated with the creation of different types of recipes. After the breakdown of his parents‘ marriage, he needed a focus in his life his and though he enjoyed rapping and music, it was spending time in his gran’s kitchen that gradually stirred a passion for cooking and set him on his own career path, and so he went on to graduate from catering college.
Kai now works as a young trainee with a Stella chef at a top London restaurant and is a great example and inspiration of determination and resilience, inspite of the turmoil of his teenage years
Rae Adore is a young creative and entrepreneur, trained in the performing arts. As well as being a talented lyricist and dance teacher, Rae has worked with a number of youth organisations and charities to help young people to dream bigger and to action their dreams and aspirations.
Though a talented dancer and choreographer appearing at the Wembley Arena and the O2, her business aspirations led her to The Princes Trust. As a beneficiary Rae accumulated a variety of skills and experience that enabled her to put her range of creative and business talents to use through her own beauty, fashion and lifestyle business. Her energy is incredible; she is relevant, current and a motivational force in her generation.
Larena is a passionate educator, illustrator and all round numbers enthusiast. She possesses a degree in Economics and in Business finance BSc and has worked in Inner London secondary schools for many years teaching Maths.
She has a passion for engaging youth beyond the classroom and equipping them for the realities of adulthood.
As someone having overcome many adversities, she is a firm believer that in favourable conditions even the most withered flower has the potential to blossom and so takes a particular interest in cheerleading students who are often perceived as ‘too much of a challenge’.
Larena is also an illustrator who focuses on demonstrating the beauty, strength and grace in black women. She seeks to empower youth, especially young women, creatively - encouraging them to affirm themselves and rest in their unique and wonderful make-up.
